They signed him to a $1 lifetime contract making him the greatest locker-room asset acquisition in the history of professional sport. He got a raise to $1.05 ($2.16 in 2013 according to inflation) in 1986 based on no on-court production and a total lack of dedication to team basketball.In summary, Bill Cosby is so awesome at life, he doesn’t even need to show up to get paid.
